Welcome to "Nature's Narratives" Where You Can Experience the Heart of our Mission and Journey with Us Along the Way!
One of the many things we enjoy is the world of words. Words are powerful. They take us places and tell stories in our minds and experiences. In our world, words color our days and sometimes cover the not-so pretty days that find us wandering. Words have meaning and purpose, they help us see Christ in His creation, and the magnificent ways He shows us His love. God uses His words to guide us through the journey of life and a path toward His Son.
We hope you will see and hear a bit of Christ throughout our spaces here at The Well, but most importantly, that you will experience Him in fresh ways for yourself and in connection with others.
Why "Journey to The Well"?
The story behind our retreat venue was formed out of a deep desire for connection. That is another story all on its’ own, but for the sake of a lot less words, let’s just say,
Life is a journey.... So, let the journey begin:
The Word “well” is biblically symbolic of a thriving community. People built their homes, farms, and their families centered around a well. Water is the very source of life. Without it, we die. With it, we live, we grow, we plant, we harvest, we create, etc...
Wells also served as gathering places, facilitating important encounters and negotiations. They were often settings for significant events, symbolizing life, prosperity, and provision!
It is our prayer that those who enter here will feel welcome, engaged, joined, loved, encouraged, and empowered. We invite you to relax, enjoy, laugh, think hard at times, take on fresh perspectives, and most importantly, breathe!
Just Breathe!
