A perfect blend of relaxation and productivity
Last week, Journey to The Well had the pleasure of hosting Tom and his team for an energizing two-day corporate retreat. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they were ready for both relaxation and focused work, and our staff was eager to make that happen.
The retreat began with a warm welcome from our team, followed by a short ride on our brand-new golf carts to their housing units, giving the group a chance to settle in and familiarize themselves with the property. 🚜 After some time to rest and recharge, the team gathered for a peaceful evening boat ride. The scenic lake views set the tone for a calm and reflective mood as they enjoyed casual conversation before gathering around a crackling bonfire later that night. The camaraderie was evident as laughter filled the air, creating the perfect environment for team bonding before the day of training that lay ahead. 🌅🔥
The next morning, Stacey Zuck—our talented cook and the heart of our hospitality—served up a hearty home-cooked breakfast. From savory options to gluten-free selections for those participating in Beck’s health challenge of the month, the meal ensured that every team member was fueled and ready for the day's work. Tom later shared how the delicious dinner, great sleep, and warm breakfast set a positive tone for the team to dive into their strategy and vision meetings.
The retreat’s agenda featured focused training sessions mixed with downtime, giving the group the perfect balance of work and relaxation. The natural surroundings of Journey to The Well provided the ideal backdrop for their discussions and team-building activities, while the team made the most of the peaceful environment to recharge both mentally and physically.
At Journey to The Well, we’re passionate about offering a balanced retreat experience for teams in demanding industries like agriculture. It’s not just about the work accomplished—it’s about recharging, building relationships, and creating long-term success. 🌾💼
